They're eating the dogs! They're eating the cats!

My suspicions were right. I had no idea the bot/clone thing was already a conspiracy that was going around. Trump was parroting the wacko's.

I'll put it this way. I don't believe that there are any Biden bots or clones out there, and Biden didn't die in 2020.

You would have to prove to me that he had body doubles doing any public speaking for him.

Do you have any proof of that, or just the two video's that were circulating back when the claims were being made? I've never seen any more evidence than that and I spent some time on the Springfield sub-reddit where people who lived in the City were saying that the claims were b/s.

The lady who was eating the cat was a crazy lady and it wasn't even in Springfield. The man carrying the goose was in Columbus, Ohio or something like that.

I'm pretty sure all of that had been fleshed out before the debate.

The crazy cat eating lady was Allexis Ferrell. She was a US Citizen.

"Canton Woman Eats Cat
Allexis Ferrell, a 27-year-old woman from Canton, Ohio, was arrested and later sentenced for torturing, killing, and eating a cat in front of people in Canton on August 16, 2023.
She was sentenced to 12 months in prison for cruelty to companion animals, a fifth-degree felony, and an additional 18 months for violating probation conditions from a previous child endangerment charge, resulting in a total sentence of 30 months.
Ferrell was born in Ohio and graduated from an Ohio high school in 2015."

Why would they replace him unless with a better version  and, clearly, that didn't happen.

That's my thinking. If you're going to take the time and risk to pull something like that off, why would you put that out there?  :D

It was either the Democrats have a sense of humor and were fucking with Trumpers or they were playing 5D chess. I'm not sure which.  :secret:

I don't think Biden died in 2020, but I do think there were look alike Bidens occasionally.

I remember a period when the right was making noise about how frail Joe looked and how he shuffled along like an old man. This was right after he did a face plant on the stairs to Air Force One.

It wasn't too long after that we saw a much energized Joe, striding confidently across the grass to board Marine One. (the Presidential helicopter)
He didn't stop and talk to anyone or even wave to the cameras. He just fast walked across the grass and nearly sprinted up the stairs into the helicopter.

I remember watching that clip several times thinking, that does not look like Joe Biden.. it's close, but it's not him.

What better way to get rid of them by stating that he hasn't had a cancer screening in 11 years, then all of a sudden he has terminal cancer and will be dead in a couple of weeks.

I'm not saying that's what happening, but tell me it's NOT plausible.

Damn.  They had to go and play the Milton Friedman card.

https://reason.com/2025/06/05/milton-friedman-disproved-trumps-argument-for-tariffs-decades-ago/

QuoteMilton Friedman Disproved Trump's Argument for Tariffs Decades Ago

In a 1978 appearance at Utah State University, the Nobel Prize–winning economist provided the perfect retort to those who blindly argue we should "build in America."

Rep. Madeleine Dean (D–Penn.) pressed Lutnick about President Donald Trump's "chaotic tariff policy." She held up a banana, imports of which are currently taxed at 10 percent. "Walmart has already increased the cost of bananas by 8 percent," she noted.

"There is no uncertainty that if you build in America, and you produce your product in America, there will be no tariff," Lutnick said. "The concept of building in America and paying no tariffs is very, very clear."

"We cannot build bananas in America," Dean retorted.

"You could have a great employment in the city of Logan, Utah, of people growing bananas in hothouses," Friedman said in 1978 during a lecture at Utah State University. "If we had a high enough tariff on the import of bananas, it could become profitable to build hothouses and grow bananas in those hothouses. That would give employment. Would that be a sensible thing to do?"

Friedman was using the banana example as the "absurd" and "extreme" end of the argument for steel tariffs, which were in the news at the time and an audience member had asked about. "If that isn't sensible," Friedman argued, "then neither is it sensible to artificially restrict the import of steel." Trump doubled the tariffs on steel this week.

That assumes a level playing field, but does not take into account the Chinese government subsidizing their steel industry. Chinese steel makers export steel to the US at a loss, but their government takes care of them on the back end. China sells steel at a loss in the US until the US steel industry is gone, then they are free to charge whatever they like.
This is exactly how the Japanese destroyed the the US consumer electronics industry in the 1960's and 70's.

But we're not just tariffing (is that a word?) Chinese steel.

His tariffs aren't targeted. They're a mess of tariffs against everyone (except the UK in this case) to use as leverage.

Lutnicks argument when he was going back and for with Kennedy is ridiculous. If they really *only* cared about good being passed through Vietnam from China, they could target those products. That's not what they're doing.

As a side question, isn't passing products through a 3rd country to avoid tariffs illegal? I know Countries get away with it.

It's just a money/tax grab.
That is all
