I wonder where that money went?

They do the same thing here. It's not the Governor, it's mostly local government. City and County.

You won't see me defending the democrats on homeless policy. I was just asking if the Republicans actually had a plan. I've seen the Democrats plan here, and it amounted to nothing more than wasted tax dollars and empty promises.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

QuoteRon DeSantis says Floridians have right to hit protesters with cars

I've been hoping for this here.  :D

https://www.newsweek.com/ron-desantis-says-floridians-have-right-hit-protesters-cars-2084418

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has said Floridians have a right to hit protesters with their car if they need to "flee for your safety."

DeSantis was speaking on The Rubin Report on Wednesday when he said: "We also have a policy that if you're driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle, and threatens you, you have a right to flee for your safety.

"And so if you drive off and you hit one of these people, that's their fault for impinging on you."

When you're "protesting peacefully " or otherwise and you're on a freeway, you kinda deserver whatever comes. Violently attack a motor vehicle on a road, street or freeway, you kinda deserve whatever comes your way. "Protest" all you watch. Wave your banners, walk the sidewalks, etc... do your thing. You be you. Impinge on the rights and freedoms of others by blocking their ingress and egress, well... that crosses the line and you kinda deserve whatever comes your way.

Quote from: neurosis on June 12, 2025, 09:56 AMForgive me for pointing out your willingness to ignore one tax (maybe the largest tax hike in my lifetime?) while you criticize another.

"U.S. President Donald Trump's cumulative tariff hikes amount to about 22%, which would be equivalent to the biggest U.S. tax increase since 1968, according to a note from JPMorgan.
These tariffs have been described as the largest tax hike in U.S. history when EVEN AFTER BEING adjusted for UNCONTROLLED inflation."

Has anyone been watching the news this afternoon?
California Senator Padilla crashed Kristi Noem's
press conference.
He barged in shouting questions and trying to muscle past the Secret Service
They hauled him out with him fighting them all the way.
He fought them and wound up on the floor, handcuffed and under arrest.
It looked like a total setup to me.
Newsome sis already making speeches about Trump's storm troopers being out of control

Every Republican plan I've ever seen was cruel and unusual.

Get clean and sober as a condition of admittance to programs, to get housing and there are curfews.

We can't have them homeless adulting now, learning how to be a productive members of society can we? Where is the money in that?
