He deserved it! Bad break after bad break and was resilient.
I was cheering for Adam Scott, but he just fell apart after the rain, so did everyone else.
Shitty Scheffler was steady at sucking but OMFG the commentators just refused to stop finding a way for him to "stage the best ever comeback in U.S. Open history".

I counted on Sunday's tv broadcast how many times they mentioned that he was #1. The answer = 8.
They talked about him a dozen times before he even fucking teed off! And 4 of those times mentioned him being #1.
The HAVE to be getting kickbacks for bringing it up constantly even when he has zero chance to win either from the tour or from his agent, I'm betting his agent.
