I have mixed feeling about this. On one hand cops wearing face coverings without any kind of badge or other recognition takes away their individual accountability. On the other hand the left loves to dox, harass, and terrorize heir enemies and their families.

I guess in the end, if illegals are worried about masked cops coming after them they can always return to their country of citizenship. Same goes for rioters, if you are worried about masked cops then don't participate in riots.

They were supposed to be clones too, but some asshat terrorists blew up the facilities on Kamino, and now they have to conscript. Empire's going downhill, I tell you what.

I, too, have mixed feelings about this. I guess all of the thousands of images of masked terrorists doing horrible things makes me cringe seeing law enforcement looking the same way.

I don't think it's the illegals worried about masked cops coming after them, it's journalists and normal citizens worried about reprocutions for speaking out against a tyrannical government. You know, republican shit.

Only during the clone wars....after the Republic fell the clones were pushed aside...

Big difference between speaking out and rioting, looting, and setting fire to buildings.

My only concern is that Cali wants to charge them with a misdemeanor if the proposal passes.
I'm all for it when dealing with rioters. With general traffic stops and such, it's not needed.

No. I don't think it's OK for cops to be masked.

Make the penalty for doing so unbearable.

I'm all for the ability to have peaceful protests. The right to speak out against our government is a critical right to freedom. The right to assemble as well. Here is the catch though. When agitators, rioters, looters, and other criminals show up to your peaceful protest, you need to leave. It's kind of like when you are hanging out with a group of friends and one of them starts doing something illegal. If you stay, even if only watching, you may be charged as an accomplice. When the peaceful protest is no longer peaceful you can stay if you want, but if you get arrested, shot by rubber bullets, etc. It's your fault for staying at the scene of an ongoing crime.

IMO, that was the biggest fault I found in the stories from participants at J6 protests. Once the shoving, glass breaking, etc. started anybody there with any common sense should have left. Especially not followed the crowd into prohibited areas.
