They should at least have something in plain sight identifying what agency they're working for.

Why??

LEO's across the country have Undercover Cars and Undercover agents. It's a Valuable Tool for Law Enforcement.

The CIA , ATF and FBI always use them.

It's Perfectly legal in Our Court System.

They only have to Identify when making an arrest or to other agencies.

Unless you have a direct interaction with them, there's absolutely no reason you need to know anything about them.

Ok, so we'll just have our very own secret police.
They show up, people disappear.

Incognito, surely you're not saying that the ICE agents wearing the gators and helmets are working undercover?

When I see people with their faces covered wearing unmarked uniforms I automatically assume they're either terrorists or Antifa. Or I'm watching  a news story about some shithole country and their goon squads.

So publicly identifying all law enforcement officers so they and their families can be doxxed is good.

Incog you keep talking about undercover. These guys aren't undercover.

Sure James, that's what I said.

If you are making an arrest, you should have to identify yourself and who your working for.

No.

But there has been an issue with police overstepping. Remove identity, remove accountability.

You're not going to believe this, but I'm on the fence on this one.  :sofa:

And this is a pre  :flipbird: to Incog because I know what's coming. :D

If you are just snatching someone of the street and shipping them to an unknown destination, that's probably not considered an arrest so maybe that's the loophole they're using.

Soo you are saying there is no such thing as a "No Knock Warrant"?

Some Courts and States Grant them to protect officers lives.

Same Same.

Generally I would agree. As of late however, lawlessness has been prevailing in Democrat strongholds.  Assaulting LE or worse has become sport with little to no ramifications from the Soros funded DA's running these shithole cities.

The LE's last line of defense in these riot situations is keeping their identities masked or hidden from the rioters.

Don't want to get hauled away, don't riot. When an "assembly' has been deemed unlawful, leave. It REALLY is that simple.

I don't disagree with you, mostly, but it's not that simple.

We want protesters to be unmasked for a reason. If every LEO was trustworthy, then we wouldn't have to worry about them hiding their identity?
