"Usually" when Feds charge, there's at least some "there" there. 

In this particular case, I'm personally really wondering if there isn't something else going on. False rape charges are nothing new and until the prosecutions for false allegations happen, false charges will continue. I'm NOT saying that IS the case here, I'm just saying the possibility exists because there are no repercussions for pursuing false allegations. 

"RICO" cases today are often like "Obstruction of justice" cases; It is what the Feds do to you when they don't think they can get anything else to stick.

I guess we shall see.
