Was it very awful?

The first week was. The second week I lost taste and smell. That was weird, but not awful.

It was months before I was able to get my wind back. I was walking 4 miles a day, 4 days a week before I got Covid. I could barely walk a lap around my Condo complex for several months.

The truth is perhaps somewhere in the middle, there were literal people who died in car accidents being listed as cv-19 deaths, certainly the sudden disappearance of the flu points to that as well.

I'm sure that it is. Maybe not the middle.  

I remember my girlfriend's best friend having to work 18-hour shifts to deal with the number of people flooding in to their hospital. Same with her sister. They were running out of space and having to find alternative places to hold people.  They had to watch an incredible number of people pass away. They know how many people die per year on average from the flu.

I remember the empty hospitals - stats show this too.
One girl in the UK was prosecuted for filming the empty hospitals - then the NHS put security staff on the doors to stop people coming in filming.
Temp staff released and sent home etc.

What's funny about that is I went to one of my buddy's house after the initial "scare" was over and he had like 40 6-roll packs of toilet paper in his guest room! lol I said dude wtf?

Yeah, the hardest part for me was how there were 0 deaths under 19 in Canada, and the week after they started vaccinations it jumped to 20 deaths under 19.

Was that the anti-vaxxer lady who claimed to be (lied about) being a journalist?  She was going into hospitals and being unruly and causing problems, so was told stay out unless she had a legitimate reason for being there?

No. She wandered around empty hospitals filming them. Because lots were empty. All appointments stopped too.
Then lots of other people started doing the same.
So the gov clamped down on it fast, and made an example of her.
Also, 2021 UKNHS cut (memory) 10+% of covid ward beds for that winter, after the "terrible 2020". When the MSM were still calling out the plandemic.
Reality and News, are/were two totally different things....
