To be fair, Trump did make a pretty good deal with Qatar for Boeing planes.  Hopefully that pans out.

I'm optimistic it will pan out in that Trump will get a Boeing plane from Qatar.

I'm not sure it will be meaningful for anybody but him...unless you're disturbed that the President of the United States seems to be taking "gifts" from a foreign government and you're wondering what they're getting out of it?

If you'd get your news from somewhere other the The View, you'd know the plane was gifted to the Untied States, not the
President. It is also very unlikely that Boeing will complete the retrofit before Trump's term is complete.

My brother was in San Antonio for a few years working on that project, then he went to Louisiana to work on the SLS rocket.

Boeing's AirForce One Project

The 747's are being modified at Port San Antonio for presidential use. The News 4 I-Team has the report's findings and Boeing's response.

When Boeing was first awarded the contract for two presidential planes they were supposed to be completed by 2024. The assessment by the Government Accountability Office says they won't be ready until 2029.

The original cost was $3.9 billion; the current estimate is $5.6 billion.
