He did the last thing he needed to do, it seems. I watched the whole show that day, it was incredible. Also glad I got to see him in concert ~2017 with the full band.

Gotta say that considering his lifestyle 76 is a ripe old age. I enjoyed his music but hated watching the train wreck that was his life.

I saw him the once in '86 at the monsters of rock festival at castle donnington (motor racing circuit).
My stand out memory, was Motorhead....so damn loud, and someone let off a firework from in front of us that shot across the crowds head like an exocet at about 12 feet high, shot past Lemme and exploded into his speaker stack. Lemme went ape and really wanted to kill the guy

Heard his last concert made $160 Million for Charity.

Loved his Music. But more than that I loved his Crazy sense of Humor.
