I don't know; it was a long time ago, but Richard Speck murdered 8 student nurses in Chicago in 1966. I saw a documentary on him and it showed him in prison, seemingly having a grand old time. He died of a heart attach the day before his 50th birthday.

I wish the families knew why he chose these kids to kill. Something tells me he had been around them before.

Even if he did give an explanation, how truthful/based in reality would it be? No doubts in my mind this douche has serious mental issues, getting a explanation from someone like that is like having an infant explain astrophysics. Not gonna make any sense.
