It's a balmy 73 here with a 57% humidity. It's awful.

I should move.

You've been to South Tacoma.  If I lived there (which I have), I would move too.  :D

I do. Every day.

There is a lake about 1/2 mile a way that I walk to.

Went to the grocery store only about 2 miles it was Brutal.

My old Junker doesn't have A.C.

Took the neighbor Girl.

She said "How do the windows go down"??

I said Crank that handle.

She was shocked!!! ;D

She was like a puppy with her head out the window. ::)

I would have been embarrassed.

But I couldn't stop laughing. ;D

I've been to my daughter in Steilacoom, also. Not far from her house is a steep hill going down to the water. It's one of the most beautiful sights I have seen. The water before you and snowcapped mountains in the distance. I drove down the road along the water at the bottom. I was hoping to stop in at the beach (Sunnyside?) but it was too crowded. It was clear skies when I was there, and I was always getting an unexpected view of Mt. Ranier.

What did you think of that?

It's nearly 10,000 feet above the mountains around it. It's a massive Volcano that's right in our back yard. It's apparently grumbly lately.

What was awesome was flying in past Ranier and seeing it from above. I looked at it and thought "that's cool" and noted how big it was compared to the surrounding terrain. But you really can't appreciate the scale until you see it from the ground. Gobsmacked is a word that comes to mind. I never got tired of it.

Yea.. It's hard to explain to people how incredible that view is until you see it yourself.

There is something to be said for living 30 minutes from the ocean and ski resorts at the same time.

And we're celebrating here because the local reservoir is back to normal levels so that we can continue to fish and swim and fuck and get drunk and puke in it, not to mention defecation and urination and then drown and die and maybe my rotting corpse will turn up 1 month down the road in it. Then we clean it and drink it.

GO Us!!!

I filter my water at home.
