This is a better response than the typical "but Biden" or "its due to regulation" but the person who would have to be fired would be the one responsible for the report from the Commerce Department Reuters is quoting.

I also wish you would tell the tool companies we purchase from that prices haven't gone up. We just paid $16 more for an endmill we purchased in March and it had the tariff surcharge written right on the invoice.
