This was a race in Pennsylvania that includes obstacles like climbing walls and mud pits with barbed wire over the top. My daughter and son in law did the 10k.

Lexie, my 7-year-old granddaughter. competed in the Savage Jr. There were 2 races; a 1/3 mile and a 1 mile. Lexie chose the one mile, even though you're supposed to be 9 for that one. My son in law, John, ran the whole way with her, taking videos of her going over the obstacles. Of course, their mud pit didn't have barbed wire but it did have plain wire over the top. It was high enough for them to duck under instead of crawling through the mud.

I'm so glad he got those videos. I can watch them over and over.

So far, among my grandkids, I have a 2nd degree black belt in TKD (my grandson), a black belt in TKD (his sister) and a 7 year old who loves tough man races. I'm a proud grandpa.

I would like to post the videos, but they're on facebook.
