Very misleading headline. If you read the article, Russian journalists were looking for someone to interview. They found this guy who already owned and was riding a Ural motorcycle. That is obviously why they picked him to interview, he was probably assumed to be Russian friendly or at least neutral since he was riding a Russian bike. Then when article/blog vent viral and it was not unfavorable to Russia/Putin, Putin decided to gift him a bike. The headline makes it seem like they just found some random dude walking down the street and gave him a motorcycle.
