While I think he deserves every bit of it, it is not his sentence. As a society if we believe he needs to be raped, beaten, and tortured then that should be his sentence. Otherwise prisoners need to be kept safe.

Sure the other prisoners are doing psychological torture, though I would have a tough time thinking that every prisoner that gets that treatment should get their own, isolated, soundproof cell. I did read he is bitching about not getting a proper vegan diet. Once again, I would have a tough time accommodating this dipshit for that. Should the prison system be responsible for every different diet in the world? How about if he followed a strict carnivore diet?

There's nothing about cruel OR unusual. There's a difference, AND that difference has been upheld in courts.

They can be cruel. They can be unusual. They CANNOT be both. One or the other.

Jailhouse justice IS NOT unusual, but it is nearly always cruel.
