Friday afternoon, winding down for the long weekend. 8)
Then,,,, you hear that un-mistakable sound of a Mitsubishi AXD4000 Facemill rapid into a vise at 14000RPM.
Haas UMC-750, spindle might be gone......  :wallbash:

What does a Haas spindle cost these days?
Matsuura has gotten obscenely expensive in that department...right around $50k, then you still gotta pay the labor to install.

Not sure these days, it used to be around 12k for a 15000RPM Spindle Cartridge.

The trunion is probably gone as well.

Those are light machines. A hit like that is commonly fatal.
