Nope. Been thier tactics for a long time. If you live in a Democrat controlled state like Massachusetts or California you have been seeing it forever. It's the same with the election. I don't think it was stolen but it sure in hell was rigged. Everything they did nationally they have been doing at local and state level for a long time.  Whenever it seems even possible they could loose they change the rules. Often times using politically appointed judges to rule in their favor. One of the only things I liked about Trump was when they punched him he punched back twice as hard. Didn't make for a good 4 years but at times the entertainment value was off the charts. 😁

Kristi Noem is testing the waters in early primary states. If Trump runs I would bet $50 she ends up his running mate. Personally I would rather have her as a choice over Trump.

I said it a long time ago that I thought Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem would be a winning ticket for the Republicans in 2024.
I never pictured her running with Trump, but now that you mention it, she would be a great choice for VP if he wins the nomination.

We'll see how things shake out in the primaries with everyone running against everyone.
Although Trump hasn't officially announced, he will be the 'X-factor' for sure.
If he does run in the primaries, it will be interesting to see if everyone else tip-toes around him.
They probably believe that one of them may very well be the VP nominee if Trump wins, so they can either play nice with him, or come out swinging.

Yeah, that is why I said that if Trump runs, DeSantis would be better off waiting until 2028. He will almost certainly win governor again. Ride out another 4 years and run in 2028 with Trumps support. If he was to run too hard against Trump in a primary it could really hurt his image. If he went along and became Trumps running mate he would get caught up in whatever BS the left tries to use to bring Trump down. Possibly he could run in early primaries and play nice with Trump, then pull back enough to keep his good image going and keep building public support and recognition for 2028.

Noem is already buying adds in primary states
I think she'll be going for the top of the ticket, not the VP spot

Oh they are all going to go for the big chair in the primaries.
I'm just saying DeSantis / Noem is a realistic possibility after the primaries.

If she wins the nomination outright I would definitely vote for her for President.
I'm just not sure the Republican party is there yet for nominating a woman for President, but I'm OK with voting for any qualified woman.

Del.

I've not heard of her.

I hope Trump keeps his ass at home. He's toxic to the republicans and anyone else who criticized him.

Kristi Noem is the Governor of South Dakota.
She has shown great leadership in her state throughout the pandemic.
White conservative women are not well received on the national political stage, but I think she can do it.

If she were to be our first woman President, I'm OK with that.

Maybe...I need to see and hear more before I could get on board...

Anyone but Biden is a great notion but we see where any one but Trump got us....I will be far more pragmatic going into 2024...

You are correct.
We should all have a healthy dose of skepticism about every politician.

This is a link to her website that gives a quick one-page rundown of her life and political career.
https://www.kristinoem.com/about

OK, politicians' websites only show the positives, but as far as I can see, she seems to be exactly what she appears to be, a conservative Christian woman who defends the Constitution, and has a family-first philosophy in all she does.

I have seen and heard her on a few of the Fox News talking head shows during the pandemic, and she was always very articulate on the issues that were being discussed.

I don't think she is simply 'better-than-Biden', I think she would be far superior to Biden in every way.

I gotta be honest...this notion of a "good christian" is really crawling up my craw...

Understand, not because of their belief in whatever...they are entitled to their beliefs.

I want someone  making decisions based on what's right. If they arrive at it in part becasue of their belief system, fine...I for one don't like being preached at by preachers, I damn sure don't want politicians preaching at me either...

Same for people who have served in the military....for me, as late, seeing how some of them, in my point of view are all but traitors to their oath, it's becoming a disqualification factor for many.

As I get older, I become more and more disillusioned with politics and politicians......
