3.A.M. and leaning way left on your steering wheel .I'll take a Burrito Supreme, 3 soft tacos and an XXL grilled stuffed Burrito. Been there, done that.

3 miles down the road there is a steaming pile .

Made it home safe. :)

So far, that seems to be the course things are on. They DO plan on integrating it into Fusion360 from what I hear which would be pretty cool for those users. They (AD) are tied in with Module Works now (something they swore up and down they would not do) ). I thought they may try to pull PowerMill's stuff into Fusion... turns out the workflow for PowerMill isn't even close to compatible with the workflow of Fusion so, if you can't beat 'em, jooin 'em. Module Works makes good stuff.

Man I sure hope MW doesn't sell out to AD. That would be a death blow to Mastercam
You can bet both Sandvik and AD have made MW very nice offers

That would probably be a death blow to quite a few different cam systems.  I'm pretty sure that even TS uses MW now. :(

They do indeed. But they don't rely on it. They have other avenues :)

TS is still independently owned, and they have no plans to cave in. TS for teh win! LOL

Most comapnies are probably fine...

The deals generally buy the right to use the paths released at a particular version....like maintenance, if you want the updates you pay for them...

That's how it used to be any way

Sure. But TS is still independently owned, and Mastercam isn't :)

It would be a sad day to wake up and find all the CAD/CAM applications are now owned by Sandvik or AD though.
