Fox News' Sean Hannity says he knew all along Trump lost the election

Yeah but according to your beloved fact check sites Hannity can't be trusted for telling the truth. You posting that just makes you look like even more of mindless lemming for left wing propaganda.

I have a question about quarantine.

I know that they changed the guidelines in the US so that if you test positive, you have to quarantine for at least 5 days. If symptoms subside, then you can end your quarantine but should still wear a mask for 5 more days.

It clearly states that if you have a fever you have to remain quarantined. What it isn't clear about, is if you don't have any symptoms but are still testing positive, can you still end your quarantine after 5 days?

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

I found a link to the DOH guidelines which are a little more clear. They mostly quote the CDC but add additional information that is left to interpretation on the CDC site. I would have assumed that if you are still testing positive, you are still supposed to quarantine.

QuoteIf your test is positive, you are likely still contagious. You should continue to isolate and
wear a mask and wait 24-48 hours to test again.
• If you test negative on two sequential tests each performed 24-48 hours apart, you can
end isolation and stop wearing a mask before day 10.

That decision seems to be localized. Los Angeles County has nanny rules. Riverside County (my county) says you're adults, make good choices. Los Angels County is a 3rd World shithole save for a few communities here and there. Riverside County is the wild, wild west.

Not for nothing, but that's fairly ironic; calling the one guy who disagrees with the majority on this forum a mindless lemming.

You can still test positive for up to 90 days. Doesn't mean you're contagious though.

The question is, under the guidelines, are you still required to quarantine?

I kinda answered my own question, and as James pointed out, it's somewhat localized.  In Washington State, more specifically, King County, you are required to quarantine for up to 10 days. After 10 days they don't even recommend testing but say to continue to quarantine if you still have a fever.

No you aren't.

And regarding testing, Mayo Clinic has stated they don't even recommend testing anymore. If you have symptoms care for them and quarantine as needed. Get medical treatment if symptoms get worse. Like every other illness we have.

With the PCR test you can test positive for up to 90 days after getting Covid. I tested positive for a month after.

Why they say no need to test because they are not 100% accurate.

This regarding people coming back to work who have tested positive for Covid. The guidelines in Washington State are pretty clear (the CDC aren't as clear which is why I asked) and the shop owner doesn't want to be sued if someone is out of sick time and requesting coming back to work even though they are still testing positive.

You'll have to explain more on the "no you are not" because you lost me.

But, but, but the WHO and CDC knows best!!!! What person in their right mind would follow the Science with those crazy people at the Mayo Clinic? So their funding will be reduced and guess what they will get in line and follow the science being preached by the CDC and WHO. Got to be paid to play in today's science arena.

Back when we had to have a test before flying I had several family members show positive that were not sick or even had it. At $400 a test it took 3 test before the 3rd one came back negative they were flying for a family emergency and you think the testing company cared they got it wrong 2 times prior and refunded the money? Nope tough luck you are out $1200. Now we can fly without mask, but flying with masks didn't do anything because everyone was not correctly and properly fitted for antiquate gear. Said it many times and I will say it again a piece of cloth doesn't protect anyone from getting Covid. It gives anyone wearing one the false impression of safety, but doesn't protect anyone from getting a virus.

You asked if you are required to quarantine if you still test positive after symptoms are gone, my answer was "No you are not"  because you can test positive for up to 90 days after infection, and at that point you are no longer contagious a threat to humanity.

ahh.. ok. Maybe I should have been more specific about why I was asking.

I'm not sure that it matters because again, the guidelines in my area are pretty specific about it.  Not sure that there are any consequences. I mean, who really gives a shit other than employers when it comes to these guidelines?
