The only things he questions are what goes against what his media outlets are feeding him. Then he goes to his trusty "you can trust these people we say you can trust" website. So there's that as well.

It seems to me that's what everyone on here is doing.

I think more people here are questioning EVERY source ESPECIALLY the mainstream ones, because let's face it, over the last say 10-15 years they have EARNED their need for every statement to be questioned. And that's just the media. The government FFS... my goodness. Just when you think they could not possibly be any more deceptive, incompetent, malfeasant (etc...), turns out they spend more time investigating parents at school board meetings than they do on guys KNOWN TO THEM that are taking machetes to people at a new years eve celebration.

So pardon us that care to question everything and everyone. Even the "scientists" on the government dole that change their story daily with no truly detailed admissions of past inaccuracies. Epic failures even at the highest levels.

We're not in the days of Walter Cronkite anymore where biases and agendas were either hidden or at the very least disguised. No such thing exists today but people like smit continue to pretend it does.

Perhaps too many people like smit prefer comforting lies over uncomfortable truth. Personally I'll take truth I don't like over a lie I agree with any day. But that's just me.
