An incredible new body cam video from Utah shows a four-year-old boy shooting at police.
Officers near Salt Lake City were arresting the child's father for threatening a drive-thru worker when police said the kid somehow got hold of the gun.

Nobody was hurt.

The father, who was later convicted of child abuse and assault, admitted this was not the first time the kid got ahold of his weapon.

To say this is anecdotal evidence to support any sort of gun control would be generous at best.

I say store your firearms however one wants. If something bad happens if a minor gets hold of it, you're 100% responsible for whatever happens. Guns in safes are not helpful when it's hitting the fan. It's quite the connundrum.

Here's somethign I'll leave you all with whilst I go pack for vacation;

Studies have shown children exposed to firearms in a safe manner early and are taught responsible firearms (even children of preschool age) handling, when presented with options to handle firearms or toys, will choose the toys because firearms are no big deal to them. They know to not handle them unless <insert adult title here> is with them, it's not "gun time". Children not exposed early to firearms allow their curious nature to get the better of them and will gravitate to guns nearly every single time. .

Moral of the story, be responsible, expose your kids early to firearms, take 'em shooting often because then it removes the mystique and it's just another item around the house.

The anti's have been crushing to get defensive firearms stats repressed for a LONG time. They KNOW the number of defensive uses is so large, it would totally defeat their arguments for more control.
