We do have quite a few Hispanic people in "apprenticeship" positions and a few of them look promising. They're all legal immigrants, our company makes us all bring in proof of citizenship when they hire and then every 5 years of so afterward. I think that's a federal requirement.

No, I see it. Some of our young guys are smart enough to be good technicians but don't give a shit. They just want a paycheck so they can go home and play video games. Hopefully a couple out of a dozen will see learning the trade as a way to prosper and take care of their families for a long time. We have a few with potential.

I don't know about teaching children to hate our country though. Teaching history is necessary, the good and the bad. This country has done a lot of really good things and also a lot of awful things. If that's what you're talking about.

I have heard that in China Tik Tok carries stuff like physics, mathematics, electronics, etc while in the U.S. people are posting tik toks of people eating Tide pods. 

I see that as a problem.

The El Salvador reference is about them cleaning up their own country and making it safe for citizens so they don't feel like they have to flee. It's better to have El Salvadoreans living in El Salvador. Other Central American countries could do the same to make it safe for their citizens.
