Clearly you didn't listen to Biden's press secretary. "They were celebrating this historic event"...which means...I guess...the rules don't apply to them.

QuoteThe other person took a slightly less sophisticated route and changed the date of an old test with Microsoft Paint for his vacation to Southern Europe.

Paint is badass. Not nearly as sophisticated as Photoshop, but it still gets the job done for the skilled.

BITD I was a Business Manager for a PONY All-Star Team. Part of the requirements for fielding a team is that you MUST have a team picture with ALL rostered players. We had one player that was going to be on vacation when we planned on taking the picture. No problem. The day he was available, at approximately the same time I planned on taking the team picture I got him to take a picture. I mapped his position on the ground. Fast forward a week later, we put a cone in his position on the ground and took the team picture. I used Paint to put him in the picture. One of the players' dad was a film editor (he was Plan B) critique it. He could not tell the image was doctored.

Success. Was it breaking the rules? I looked at the rule book cover to cover and could not find a single rule pertaining to image s other than "every rostered player MUST be present in the team picture". BOOM! In the clear.

I posted this above. The WHO is finally admitting that this virus came out of a lab.

I want the President to tell the truth at a press conference. I want him to surround himself with the best scientists and then listen to their advice on how to plot a way forward. I want him to communicate clearly with the American people and make them understand what we need to do as a country to get past this disease.

If the scientists indicate the truth is we aren't going to be able to change the trajectory of the disease for several months, well, that's not really a pleasant thing to hear but we should know about it. And we should use that knowledge to plan a way forward to where we can make things better.

Does that really sound crazy? :OldForumHeadScratch:

Do you really prefer to have a President who misleads the country? Who tells us it's not going to impact us, it's going to go away when the weather warms up, it's already going away on its own, etc, etc? Even when he knows goddamn well it's not true?

And not being able to change the trajectory of the disease for the next few months doesn't mean we couldn't have done things better in the last year. For reference Google what's happening in Wuhan now. It seems they're pretty much back to normal. Of course the cultural differences in our countries are going to prevent the U.S. from clamping down on society the way they did but we certainly could have done a better job of communicating the need to take preventative measures instead of politicizing the pandemic the way we did.
