From all reporting I've seen, Kalifornakstan has very high compliance with all of the restriction put in place by the state .gov as well. Well, except by those in the ruling class.

Why is their infection rate so high?

It seems like states with less severe mandates and restrictions are faring at least as well, if not better.

I think that the biggest reason for Vermont's success is our relatively low population density coupled with the fact that we have made it awkward for tourists to come here.

I remember Biden saying he will have 100M people vaccinated in 100 days, and that he would issue a 100 day mask order, and even that he'd "change the course" of COVID 19 within 100 days, but never that he'd eradicate it. Doesn't really matter though, because it's just the flu.

Our numbers in Indiana are dropping like a rock in spite of lackluster compliance with our mask mandate and packed restaurants everywhere you go.
