Sounds about right. Plus with so many cases, that may help (but sucks with nearly 300,000 deaths...terrible!).

Thats not how the Covid vaccines work. These are a new technology never before used widely called mRNA. It teaches the body to create a protein in the body that triggers an immune response. So in theory it is longer lasting than antibodies.

Yeah but before that technology vaccines were considered to work exactly as I said. It has to do with T-cell response in the immune system. That's how your body remembers viruses it has beat before. It's like they want to pretend that knowledge doesn't exist when claiming we all need to get the vaccine.

Yes, however their rationale to this type of vaccine is it should last longer than what a typical vaccine would. Since the Covid antibodies are estimated to only last around 90 days, they are hoping for a longer immunity timeframe. However I don't believe they have enough data to back up that claim.

By the time I'm "allowed" to get it, there will have been plenty of people that have had it for a year, so plenty of data regarding effectiveness and side effects.

Definitely taking it, but I'm glad my wife and I won't be first in line...just to make sure it's safe. For us it's all about getting back to 'normal.' We love cruising. We were supposed to go to China/Japan this year...not. So then we switched it to Panama and Central America...not. And the d@mn CDC is ridiculous with its rules: 1 case of covid and the ship must return to port! We are hoping to go to Northern Europe next year and then spend extra time in the UK, and the industry has pretty much already said that if you want to cruise you WILL be getting the vaccine. I expect more and more industries to do the same, and those who don't want the vaccine with be left behind...I hate to see that, but this year has sucked. Our son probably won't get to finish his PhD because of it which means he threw away his 20's for nothing, and people who want to get angry over a little vaccine when we ALL got them growing up and were THRILLED that we wouldn't get polio and small pox and all the other diseases that killed and maimed ALL the generations before us...I guess that's their prerogative just like it is for businesses and industries to refuse them service as many are already saying they are prepared to do...

Just so you know, the mark of the beast could be anything from SSN to any other type of identifier but the actual root behind it is bowing down to the beast and pledging allegiance to him. With that pledge people will receive the mark that identifies them as one with the beast.
