:D  It's just a mashup of him saying "nobody is better".  I'm just poking fun at him.

Quote from: beej on August 13, 2024, 10:07 AMIf you google Trump's plans for first 100 days in office, you might not like what the articles say but there are a lot of them, mostly put out by leftwing groups trying to scare us.

I'm assuming they're probably still trying to tie him to project 2025?  I had posted a while back, I listened to a podcast Trump did with David Sacks and some other guys.  If you can believe what he said on that podcast, I would have less apprehension about a second Trump Presidency. As usual, not the greatest orator.  :D  But it was one time I didn't have to listen to rhetoric and he focused more on policy questions.  I wish he did more of that.

I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Quote from: Bucky Cornstarch on August 13, 2024, 10:17 AMMainstream corporate media. This is a trend that has been happening for 50 years at least.

The vast majority of writers at legitimate news organizations actually graduate from universities with accredited journalism programs. My experience was that instructors in those classes were interested in teaching things such as story structure, how to research a subject, and how to keep bias out of a story. I don't recall one trying to influence me politically; in fact, that is the exact opposite of what a journalism professor is supposed to do.

Perhaps we need to define what makes a journalist, and what makes an opinion writer or columnist. If you read crap like Gateway Pundit or Huffpost, you most likely are not reading true journalism.

What school did you go to?

I think when Trump debates Harris you will hear more on policy than personal attacks, or at least I hope so.

We already know, and I will save everyone the trouble, that the MSM will accuse Trump of bullying Harris one way or the other.

I'm not saying Trump won't throw a few stones, and so will Harris.
But if Trump sticks to policy, and attacks her RECORD, while keeping the personal stuff to a minimum, he will do very well.

That's another thing most libs will have trouble processing.
Trump attacking Harris on her record is not the same thing as attacking her personally.
But like I said, just wait, especially if Harris stumbles at all in the first debate, the media will pounce on Trump for bullying her no matter what he says.

A state university in California. I took journalism classes because I aspired to be a motojurnalist. After a few semesters I switched to engineering/manufacturing/business, where I can assure you very few of my profs were liberal.
