The thing I find crazy about Cal is that it's one of if not thee hardest UC to get into, yet the lunacy of so many of the students is SO off the charts.

The dichotomy of that place is nothing short of astounding. 

And Michicant... known for two things; 1) 34-32 DII Appalachian State vs. Michigan WTF Lloyd? and 2) The finest Aerospace engineer to ever walk the planet, one of if not the only recipient of not just one, but TWO Collier Trophies; Clarence "Kelly" Johnson...

I personally do not have much faith in the current polls and I have even less faith in the Main Stream Media. They are SO in the bag for the left they don't even hide it anymore. Nearly all of them claim "Independent", the numbers that would admit to voting for a Republican are most likely in the low single digit percentages.

They are still polling the same ways they always have. "Random" phone calls. The people that have phones and pick them up still think the Democrat Party is the party of JFK.

It's been going on for a long time. Walter Cronkite was lying about the poll numbers when I was a child. My father was always criticizing Cronkite about his political lies.

You'll find libtards here, but not as much as some would have you think. They're like a herd, they keep together.
Most of the places you'll visit seem to have rather level headed people.

We're changing the name to 'independent thinkers'. I know that fence sitter sounds better to ideologues.

Nothing wrong with being a fence sitter.

The only drawback is that when it comes time to actually vote, you need to come down off the fence on one side or the other or stay on the fence and don't vote at all.

As long as your vote is an informed decision that aligns with your personal values, sitting on the fence until the last minute is a reasonable course of action.

I have said this before, but being a Judge of Election for the past 20 years I have seen many, many people walk up to the table, sign their name in the poll book, take their ballot, and say out loud, "I have no idea who to vote for."

I almost always say something like, "Well you are free to choose anyone on there, or write in someone else's name if the person you want for a certain office is not on the ballot, or you can even leave it blank if that's what you want."

They usually look stunned and ask, "I can leave it blank?"
I say, "It's your ballot, so it's your choice."

In all of the times I have had that conversation I have only seen one guy walk over to the machine and insert his blank ballot and walk away.
