Quote from: JakeL on September 13, 2024, 10:01 AMand as soon as she said that I thought "did I miss something"?

No, you didn't miss anything.

The left caters to the feelings of the voter, that's all they care about.
Since they know that abortion is a huge issue, spewing "Trump abortion ban" over and over makes sure that the idiot libtards' feelings remain hurt and they associate Trump with an abortion ban because they've heard it over and over.
Even when it's not true, they continue to prey on their feelings because they know it's effective and the liberals don't care about facts.

Quote from: JakeL on September 13, 2024, 10:01 AMTrump very clearly said everyone wanted abortion to be handled at the state level and NOT the federal level, and that he made that happen.

That he did. He campaigned on getting Roe vs Wade repealed and history afforded him the opportunity to appoint 3 judges who would do just that.

But...did "everyone" really want it as he so clearly stated? Even if you rarely listen to news of any kind surely you were aware of major blow back from that decision. Saying "everyone" was, to put it mildly, inaccurate.

Quote from: Del. on September 13, 2024, 09:27 AMRemember when they asked her a question that covered 3 things and she said I'm going to cover all 3 of them and then rambled on about everything but those things.

She was quite evasive. But her main goal was to get Trump talking about rally size and eating dogs and cats.

Still, it was kinda like Trump's answer: "I have concepts of a plan" when he was asked about repealing the awful, terrible, lousy, not very good, affordable care act he saved back in the day.

I think most of us can agree solid details were hard to come by for both candidates.

Yanked right from CNN! Just like clockwork!
Weird how you didn't parrot that until CNN did eh?

His opinion on the ACA was that if Congress couldn't improve on it, then he would leave it alone. I'm sure he has his own ideas but even I doubt they help much. Biggest thing to me is bringing the out of pocket costs way down.

Did he campaign on that in 2016?  I guess I don't remember.  I didn't think that was on his radar at the time. He was on record saying that he was pro-choice back in those days

No, just another egregious lie by Dumbsmit.

He was wanting to defund Planned Parenthood.

"I would defund it because of the abortion factor, which they say is 3 percent. I don't know what percentage it is. They say it's 3 percent. But I would defund it, because I'm pro-life."

The best one I ever saw was the pic of the Bushes striper fishing in the flood waters in New Orleans after Katrina.

It didn't happen on accident. Let's hop on the way back machine and review the 2016 debate with Hillary Clinton....

I don't think people took him seriously back then....and the rest if history.

Trump Says Roe v. Wade Will Be Overturned 'Automatically' If He's Elected

And yes, he did campaign on repealing the ACA.

That I do remember.  What ever  happened to the 'replace' part of that?

Probably the same thing that happened to getting rid of the deficit?  Or Mexico paying for the wall?

And of course you have proof that it's attributed to the vax and nothing else?

I'll dig deeper in to this if you want me to.

Cancer is as much of an interest to me as it is to you.

I'm not likely to take John Campbell's word for anything as he's been proven incorrect several times.

C'Mon guys! If any of us greasy machinists had a coupla brain cells left to rub together, we'd realize that @neurosis 's graph up here is just what we've been looking for! The secret to running 100% good parts isn't running good parts, it's just not looking for bad parts (or cancer, either)!

Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies!

I think I know what studies he's talking (thinking, I don't know that he's referring to studies, just assuming)  about.  I'm not sure because he's always vague.

I'm always happy to look in to these things if given the chance.  :D

Other than that,  you're probably right.
