There's a new response on the official forum, corp-speak for this is now a new revenue stream.
I look forward to a more positive experience now, lol.
"Director, Customer Success", LOL.

During the review of the Tech Exchange in 2025 we uncovered many legacy post processors that were not current which would provide a negative customer experience. We would encourage your local Mastercam representative to provide you with a dedicated solution for the exact machine make, model and controller post processor which will then be fully supported and maintained for future releases of Mastercam, delivering a positive experience.

Sad to think that they used to provide top quality posts foc, that were easily customisable. Are the MPMaster and MPLMaster posts still available? (Not that it matters to me nowadays) I built many customer posts back in the day from those great foundations.

Those are about it for posts now. I did manage to get the base haas y axis post from my reseller (yes i still have a reseller) after a few days. I am just gonna have to start building from my old posts now.

And don't forget, along with having to buy a post there will be a yearly maintenance charge for the post. IMO, one of Mastercam's strengths historically was being able to customize a post to your liking. If they are now charging for posts, I have no doubt that some of the good stuff will be binned away, a mere user will not have access.

It really makes me want to dive into the AI post processor.

I have the MC2021 post install .exe file that installs all the posts that used to be included in Mastercam. I keep updating these now through each version of Mastercam.

NX had a great graphical post builder/ post modification app. It worked well.

I think they pulled all the posts, reviewed/updated them and put them back up

There are over 100 posts available for download this morning, Fanuc only

There are 3X and 4X mill and 2X/4X lathe and mill/turn

the Fanuc gen5X are not available.

nah most of them are just different versions of the same thing. all the unique posts are still gone.

If you have the Generic 5x post, look at Collins YouTube page about modifying it.  with a little AI help its pretty easy to get a really nice post.  We don't use MC much anymore, but i needed a long tern solution to moving away from CAMplete.  This will allow us to post any small rev changes in order to support legacy MC parts.
