Is there a known bug verifying 4 axis drilling in 2021?

It back plots fine but when I run through verify the tool goes off the screen and then comes back through the part.

The code looks fine.

Hm, so it simulates fine with the 5 axis operation but the 4 axis operation is all being done in top plane..
I've seen this before in an emastercam topic, I'll see if I cant find it.

The backplot path in the verifier looks like this  -

Mastercams legacy backplot looks correct.

Yes, it was the same for me in 2022.
in the simulator the model is spinning and the tool is oriented in the top cplane and drilling in the locations in that cplane, through the part, I expect the issue is verify

I wonder if they are aware of this?  I haven't posted anything on the MC forum. It's so easy to reproduce that I assumed that they've had to run across this.

Absolutely.  I just created that on the fly to reproduce the issue.

Hey Neurosis!

I had the same-ish issue with Verify.  Turns out the "start from home position" button was enabled in verify settings.  That fixed mine.

Oh damn!  I'm off for at least until after memorial day.  I'll have to look in to this when I get back to work.

Thanks.
