This is pure comedy gold given that both Nexstar and Sinclair own almost equal Fox affiliates and ABC affiliates.  They are an equal oportunity offender.

About a year (maybe a little more) after those stations were purchased, they went from your basic local news, to a light version of Fox.

There is a push going on locally to boycott all advertisers on the local Sinclair/ABC station. I keep seeing a list of advertisers going around with phone numbers.

This has nothing to do with the government.
If you want to go down that rabbit hole, all you have to do is go back to the Biden admin when they pressured YouTube to ban everyone that was "spreading chinavirus misinformation".

As far as Sinclair goes, sure, they can do what they want.  Maybe you can convince the people who are boycotting Sinclair's advertisers that they're just being irrational? I wish you luck.

I didn't care for the pressure put on Social media from the Biden admin over covid misinformation (or the Hunter Biden laptop debacle), either. Those platforms should have been able to those decisions for themselves without government pressure.
