Have you seen Missouri's schedule??  Their first 5 games consisted of Louisiana, Kansaas, Cent AR, UMass, and SC. 
Their season starts on Oct 11th, Check back a couple weeks after that to see if that #19 looks more in line

I was impressed watching that #6 receiver. USC offense pretty good.

USC defense reminds me of swiss cheese. You think Illinois' offense is any good...what till you play the stronger Big Ten teams.

Crap defense = mediocre team.

But Trojans can score points. If they can get their defense better, they can win some games (probably not enough, though)

Still prone to giving up the big play on D. Can't have that. Better than last year. As you said, not yet up to the standard.

Yeah and they won every game but one by 2 or more scores, with 3 of those being at least a 38 point margin.

Future games don't determine your current ranking. Texas... who have they beat? San Jose, UTEP and Sam Houston yet they're #9.

More and more I'm starting to think there should not even be rankings until LATE in the season. Like the 2nd or 3rd to last game of the season.

Then, you can look at nearly the whole body of work and make a proper assessment from there.

I've been saying that for years. Start at least in week 5 or 6.

But then you'd have these guys still doing unpublished pre-season rankings and basing their week 6 ranking off of that, and we'd end up with the same ranking as we have now.

So, I watched the Texas v Florida game on Saturday.
Arch Manning is fucking terrible unless he has all day in the pocket to throw. When was the last time someone was as overrated as he is?
PSU proves once again that they were MASSIVLEY overrated in the pre-season rankings for the 65th year in a row. I don't wanna know what James Franklin does to keep his job year after year.
At this point the 2 best teams I've watched are Oregon and Miami, that WR for Miami is FAST! Holy shit!
A team to watch that is sneaky good is Missouri (with PSU's old QB), but we'll see how they do against Bama next Saturday.
