thanks for that reply. It's obvious then that you've had numerous bad experiences and that definitely will leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Here's a question for the group: Who here has had a negative experience with LE for no apparent reason, and still defend people like Chauvin and such, the heavy handed approach?

I've never had a negative experience for no apparent reason. I also am friends with a number of officers.
Still wouldn't defend Chauvin. But by the same token, I don't believe he is what killed Floyd.

I was pretty wild in my youth. I'd guess I've had 50 to 60 confrontations with police in my life, mostly driving infractions though there were a few more serious confrontations.
Overall I can think of only one time where I felt I was treated unfairly, but I always made a point to be courteous, respectful and keep my hands in plain sight when dealing with police.

I was arrested for Disorderly conduct when I was 18.  I didn't have the sense to keep my mouth shut.

Getting arrested by the cops wasn't chit to me.





My Old Man picking me up st the station was.

Getting Bitch slapped all the way home was definetly a deterrent.

I was pretty Mouthy till they said"You're Dads Here."

Cop smiled when he unlocked the Door.

Just a Breather. My Issue with you is hating Cops ,some good some Bad.

When you go to Court. It is the system also That screws you.even if you have proof the Court takes precedense with the Cops Testimony. It is hand in hand . I have gone to court with Multiple witnesses and the ONE cops testimony beat them all.

I hate bad cops, and think that other cops should be working harder to root them out instead of often covering for them.  Bad cops tend to cluster.

When you go to Court. It is the system also That screws you.even if you have proof the Court takes precedense with the Cops Testimony. It is hand in hand . I have gone to court with Multiple witnesses and the ONE cops testimony beat them all.

In which case you can blame the legal system AND the lying cop.  You can also blame the legal system for almost never punishing cops even after they've been proven by hard evidence to have committed perjury.
