I could see her taking little children away for not having masks on. How do you keep a mask on a two year old?

The vaccines aren't perfect:

QuoteIn recent data, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that at least 5,800 people had fallen ill or tested positive for the coronavirus two weeks or more after they completed both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine.

These "breakthrough" infections occurred among people of all ages. Just over 40% were in people 60 or older, and 65% occurred in women. Twenty-nine percent of infected people reported no symptoms, but 7% were hospitalized and just over 1%, 74 people, died, according to the CDC.

Governor Whitmer has added two to four year olds to the wearing masks torture. Why hasn't she been recalled already?

How do they fit??? Baby masks? (ridiculous)

where did you get that information? Anything I've read says the exact oppsite. Vaccinated people carry much lower viral load if infected, and don't pass it on, esp. asymptomatic

It has been all over the news.... That is why they keep telling people to follow public health guidelines even if vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people are dying from Covid, not in great numbers though. My neighbour works in the regional senior residence, she is fully vaccinated (Pfizer x 2 shots) and still has to have 3 nasal Covid tests per week.

My youngest daughter is in isolation at Queens university in Kingston as some residents tested positive on her floor. They said the new variants are not asymptomatic, if you are asymptomatic you have what is referred to as original Covid. This one guy tested positive but his girl friend tested negative (many tests for both). They are assuming she must have had Covid already and didn't know it.

It's been all over the news that the vaccine drastically reduces death rates and transmission efficacy

Why is the CDC requiring fully vaccinated people to wear masks?

Going back to when masks were mandated..."your mask protects others"...

Got the first jab last night..... Pfizer

Halfway home and start to feel almost buzzed. (Like a shot of tequila on an empty stomach kinda buzzed) Get home sit on the couch and feel that way for about an hour. Then all of a sudden it switches to a hangover with a bad headache. Went to bed with some Tylenol and feel better this morning except for the stiff/sore arm.

Not looking forward to #2....

Afterwards is fine, but NOT recommended before the vaccine (pain medication).

I read it on the internet so it has to be true..

Correct. They want the immune response to kick in before you take anything. Otherwise it may not be as effective.

My wife, the covid vaccine trained nurse told me, so it might be true.

120 employees, 40 to 50 got sick
a half dozen got really sick but thankfully, there were no deaths
one guy, previously healthy, in his mid 50's was out 5 months and just returned to work
He only has 40% lung capacity now and I suspect he will be filing for permanent disability before too long.

We have had a bunch here as well....the company has been good about keeping people informed and taking the necessary steps to clean areas when it's happened...

We now do testing in house if there's been a case and the internal contact tracing shows a possible contact...it has hit almost every area, from administration, assembly, QC, both shops, deburring...we've not lost anyone but several have been down for many weeks...one girl, young, late 20's, out nearly 3 months....

Because of the work we do, we have not been closed for a single day...I had one WFH day but that was because of a snow storm

How do y'all even know that info? The last shop I worked in (only one since rona) would not let any info out about illnesses. Privacy and all.
Now that I'm doing AE stuff, I'm in all kinds of shops. Nobody will mention any illnesses due to privacy. I do hear form an odd shop guy once in a while that they quarrantined, but rarely about others.

I personally recommend getting the jab for anyone post childrearing.
The actual sickness sucked for me.
Near as I can figure I got it outside mask less having coffee with a buddy. Fucker said he tested negative and showed up hacking. Got it from  4 feet away.

Because there's still small viral loads, we are still mathematically in a pandemic, and given only s percentage even do a form of what they ask, they make heavier recommendations than what might be "reasonable risk".
They've lifted the recommendations for outdoor or indoor fully vaccinated
