Tyler , My Daughter is getting Married at The Coronado in San Diego. In July
I Plan to be There But she does not know it.
It has Been Many years since I was there .
I want to Bless their time there any Suggestions? They are in their Fourties, But young at heart.
He is Hispanic ,does that Matter?? Yes Because I want him Fully Included.
I wanna give this Guy a Hug. He's a Sweetie and treats My Daughter very well.
Any Suggestions would be very appreciated.
Places to go things to do.?
Thanks for any Help.

Fun stuff.

Ha! Congratulations, and she picked a great spot. Crazy nice hotel and Coronado the town is beautiful

We might have completely different interests, but I think you would probably dig a tour of the Midway aircraft carriers, or going to the Air & Space museum in Balboa Park - the park in itself is amazing so it's worth a walk through.
You should goto la Jolla Cove for one of the best views in America, and to smell the seals.

I would generally stay away from touristy places for good food, they're okay but not worth your money. Go off the beaten path a bit.
Eat as much mexican food, especially sea-food as you can. Ahi, Mahi Mahi, ceviche, agua-chile.  There's also a bone-marrow taco place in San Ysidro that was on the short list for a michelin star.   City Tacos is in a hipster area of town but is pretty great.  If you want REAL tacos, take a day trip to
Tijuana, if your future son in law speaks spanish, even better and people can tip you off to some great places. Right near the border is Tacos El Franc and it's very good, albeit a bit busy.

If you want to spend some $$ (about 100-150)  you can charter for ocean fishing, pretty great.  Whale watching is cheaper (20-40) and this is a pretty good time for it.

If you like beer maybe a stop at Stone, or Alesmith  -   my favorite right now are Burgeon or Eppig (German styles). Eppig has a nice spot right on the waterfront. If you're a tiki guy haha, you can hit up Bali Hai for classic san diego.

Going out east, (1-1.5 hour drive) you can rent a 4x4 and tear up the desert, or hit up Garnet trail in Cuyamaca state forest for THE best view in the county, weather getting nice too. Anza Borrego dessert is where I go camping and it's super cool.

There's a lot to do in San Diego, hope your daughter's wedding is a great one!

x1000 on that view.

I was raised on a farm that had pigs and cattle. Worked on a farm with over 100K chickens. Never smelled anything as bad as those critters.

And not to pick nits, but they aren't seals. They're sea lions. :secret:

Miguel's Cocina in the El Cordova Hotel has crazy good Messican food. Best ceviche I've ever had.

Stop into Kansas City BBQ  (where they filmed the bar scene in Top Gun) and you just may get a peek at my wifes and a few of her coworkers' bras hanging from the ceiling fan.

Ohhhh that was a crazy night....

Thank you sooo Much. She is Crazy for San Diego as I took her(At 13) to Sea World. And We ran around Town and Just drove a lot to see what we could see by The Ocean. Her Fav is Dolphins but The whale watching could include Both.

Thanks for putting so much Thought into your Answer. I'm going to look into The other Places you recommended also.

Just as long as you're taking care of that child support she's been asking for it's all good.

Sea lions! Someone corrected me the opposite not too long ago, I knew they's was wrong, thanks!
