Giuliani deserves mean. Considering some of the creative, malicious and questionable prosecutions he took part in back when he was a Federal Prosecutor... I'm pretty much OK with him getting a taste of his own medicine. If it means some extra humiliation... considering he's had no public remorse towards those he prosecuted... karma.

Reading this almost makes you sick.

"Prosecutors are able to structure plea bargains in ways that make it nearly impossible for normal, rational, self-interest calculating people to risk going to trial. The pressure on innocent defendants to plead guilty and "cooperate" by testifying against others in exchange for a reduced sentence is enormous—so enormous that such cooperating witnesses often fail to tell the truth, saying, instead, what prosecutors want to hear."

It will only shield him from Federal prosecution.  He'll still be on the hook for any and all past and pending prosecution he faces at the state level.

My only wish is ALL creative Federal Prosecutors get this same treatment.

"Obstruction of Justice" shouldn't even be a thing unless there is a prosecution AND conviction for the crime the individual is being accused and tried for. Obstruction of justice" is one of the myriad of "tools" prosecutors use to punish those people they do not like. It's the "...we don't have the evidence we need to prosecute you for what we think you did, so we're just gonna slap this on because we can..." charge.

We don't hate our government enough.

The book brings ALL the reciepts too. The cases, the process, and the outcomes. All on public record.

I saw the Atlantic article the other day. I'm surprised that Fox news reported on it.

Must be a liberal activist judge?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/reagan-appointed-federal-judge-resigns-speak-out-against-trumps-assault-rule-law

Reagan-appointed federal judge resigns to speak out against Trump's 'assault on the rule of law'

Why I Am Resigning

""My reason is simple: I no longer can bear to be restrained by what judges can say publicly or do outside the courtroom. President Donald Trump is using the law for partisan purposes, targeting his adversaries while sparing his friends and donors from investigation, prosecution, and possible punishment," he wrote.

"This is contrary to everything that I have stood for in my more than 50 years in the Department of Justice and on the bench. The White House's assault on the rule of law is so deeply disturbing to me that I feel compelled to speak out. Silence, for me, is now intolerable.""

In other words "I'm accusing Trump of doing what the Biden admin did because I have TDS."

Anyone who has held office for that long should be forced to retire. When he first got appointed, the cold war was still a thing and there was East and West Germany. Quite a bit has changed.

&Biden!

I'm starting to realize there is such a thing as BDS.

You can go have that argument with the Reagan appointed judge who apparently has TDS

So then, if you think that Biden was corrupt, you obviously must think that Trump is corrupt?

And you side with him because he's just like you.... stayed silent the last 10 years that it was happening to Trump dozens of times, but the moment this admin indicts anyone on the left, it's partisan and targeted.

So you think this judge is speaking out and resigning because Trump is indicting someone on the left?

Where do you come up with this stuff?

You don't need to be gaslit. You seem to be able to ignore anything Trump does without gaslighting being necessary.

Trump isn't just going after people on the left, and I doubt this judge gives two shits about someone on the left being indicted. Comey (or Bolton) is hardly a liberal, though I'm sure you'd label him one because he doesn't fall in to the Trump sycophant category. The same reason you're accusing the judge of only caring now that someone on the left is indicted

You're killing me smalls.

Who said I'm ignoring anything?
I'm merely pointing out the blatant hypocrisy you and everyone on the left has that are now crying because the Trump admin is indicting people but had no issues about it when it was happening TO Trump over and over.
