Hoping to start a trend

Let's make more topics not involving orange man or politicians in general.  It's not my forum but many have left here due to politics.

Maybe:

How ATL Braves will probably suck again.
Who's gonna be competitive in F1 next.
Who's got the best tits in showbiz?
Will Bitcoin make it back?
What county will win the most Gold in the Olympics?
What cars interest you the most?
What CAD/CAM software sucks?
First round draft picks for NFL?
What animals taste the best?
What music artist sucks?
Predictions for the end of the world 🤷🏻

Anyone have a newer model Ford, Ram, GM, or Toyota truck with the self-destructing engines?  I have a '24 Tundra that just got added to Toyota's recall end of last year.  So far so good with mine, I just hope it makes it until I'm in line for engine replacement.  One of the owners here has a Yukon that the engine seized in so He's on engine #2.

My FIL is on his 3rd engine (GM 6.2L) in his 2021 GMC.

The V6 turbo Tundra engine was a disaster for the first 4 years.  Luckily Toyota always stands behind their product and will replace the whole short-block.  2025 + for the Tundra seems to be all ironed out.

I'm a believer that almost anything designed and built during the Covid era is basically crap.

Here's Johnny!

When I bought a new F150 I made sure to get the old and reliable 5.0L engine. SIL bought an F150 with the V6 and it died after the warranty...

Last I had read, Toyota was replacing the entire engine, turbo's and all.  That may change by the time they get to mine.  I do get a bit nervous travelling very far for fear of the motor seizing away from my home turf.

WTF is all this engine trouble?
Why are the makers having the issue - is it shared engine across different platforms or????
Surely they've all been making for many many years, so....

Was looking into the GX550, and all I hear about is an oil debris fiasco, and recommendations to buy a GX460 to fix the 550's problems, lol. Are these the same engines? A lot of the Lexus guys online are saying that Toyota refuses to admit there is a design flaw, and that they replace some parts that are semi-related, but don't fix the issue overall.

Also I'd rather have the V8 anyways, looking to get one maybe end of next year when the 2023 leases start coming back to the dealerships. Plus, the GX550 you want is up around $115k CAD, and the low mileage GX460s are around $70k. These are absolutely the nicest body-on-frame SUV's around, IMO.

From a brief search I've found some people say it's manufacturing debris that wasn't cleaned out all the way.

Chips in the engine melting on to bearings.
