Fought hard to chase leads and promote it, and got dealt to. Seems you were treated very similar.

Funny thing, I was discussing that episode with Dave Thomson (sorely missed), right around the time it happened. I repeated some of the stuff that had been passed to me, and he said the whole thing was eerily similar to how he was treated.

Yes, he sure did. He was put through the ringer. I was at the dealer conference (well the tail end of it) in Tolland just after all that went down. I didn't know much about it back then, but all the people I was with were really supportive of Dave, and thought he was treated really badly.

Dave said to me once, that he fought a long hard battle, and it came at a price.

I actually considered posting something to that effect. 
Gets mad, blames it on the software, does something stupid because the blinders are on, won't post a file because embarrassed of stupid error/oversight.

But it is one of the reasons I/we get so annoyed with bugs:  Am I doing something boneheaded, just missing some checkbox somewhere?  Or is the software not behaving as it should?  Don't tell me you haven't found dent in desk matching flat spot on forehead, only to shut down restart and have the damn thing do exactly what you were trying to do in the first place - like half hour ago.  Grrr.
