ModuleWorks estimated revenue for 2025 was $42 million USD, according to search, so offer them 120 million and then collect royalty cheques from everyone else. It is the Sandvik way.

Sandvik probably spends more on IMTS that that.

That seems very low seeing as their tech is the heart of basically everything now. Those license fees must not be that bad!

Yes, I am a pessimist, and no it's not getting better as I age. And witnessing new examples of half-empty glasses doesn't help.

Half-empty rose-colored glasses will help you to be less pessimistic.  But only if you get really dark glasses will you be able to not see what a steaming pile is in the cart we've hitched our horse to.
