I just upgraded from 2020 to 2021 today.
Look and feel is pretty much the same so far.

Anything I need to be aware of?

It's worthwhile to spend some time on the Mastercam YouTube Channel
There are a lot of incremental improvements

I keep telling myself I need to bite the bullet and update from X9, but then I always have work to do in a hurry and fall back to what I know.

Once you get used to the new versions of the software you wont be able to use the old.

I hated it at first.   There are still some annoyances, but I couldn't use X9 if I tried to anymore.

Man, I could have used that Add history.  Had a model with a lot of incorrect hole sizes from a customer.
I'll be using that in the future

Thanks for the tip.
Haven't had time to dive into it yet, but it looks like there is lots of good info there.

So far so good w/ 2021, but I really just installed it and opened a few existing files just to poke around.
I won't be doing any new programming with it until next week, so we'll see then if I have any issues.

Oh btw...
I was prompted to install 2021 Update #2 shortly after installing 2021.
Should I have looked for Update #1 first, then installed them sequentially?

The initial download of MC2021 installs update #1 as well
The install sequence should be
Initial install
update 2
update 3

Slight alter

Can't install Update 3 without 2.1

Yep.
Started MC today and was prompted to install Update 2.1, then when I restarted after installing 2.1, I was prompted to install Update 3.

So I did that, and now I think I should be good to go.

Thanks, guys.
