Quote from: neurosis on January 11, 2022, 02:08 PMWell, about 3 weeks in I dumped my cable so I don't have showtime anymore.

It was a little strange. I'm not sure that I could recommend it. I wouldn't have minded getting to see a few more episodes.

I watched the series (Showtime On Demand).

I really liked it..

I may have to do the 30day free trial and see if I can catch up.  :D
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

The Sinner

The newest season of Ozark came out couple days ago, I've already watched them all.  I thought they were great, although it left you hanging....

Season 6 of 'Billions' is out on Showtime.

First episode was pretty good but a bit boring IMO.

Maggie Siff is still smokin' hawt, so they've got that goin' for them.

I watched a show called "Acapulco" recently on Apple+. It's a clever, funny show. About half of the dialog is in Spanish so you either need to be bilingual or able to read sub-titles.

You thought a bit boring? I loved it. Will be interesting how the season plays out sans Axe.

Shazam/TPP

Pennyworth on HBO Max, interesting take on the back story of Alfred, Bruce Wayne/Batman's butler.

I started watching that but it got too violent for the wife. The guy is definitely a bad ass. One observation is that it is an alt history story, like Bridgerton. I wonder how many idiots viewers out there know that.

Yeah I thought that whole story line with the dispute between Chuck and his neighbor taking the majority of the episode was a bit much, and I didn't like the underlying anti-2A bias, but I still like the show.

Btw...Does anyone else think Paul Giamatti has aged dramatically?
Chuck and Wendy were husband and wife at the beginning of the series, now he looks like he is old enough to be her father.

1883 on Paramount + is very good and accurate depiction of that time.
