Ukranian jets hit Russian convoys

Quote"We are striking the enemy's columns," Brig. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov told Military Times in an exclusive interview Wednesday morning. "We burn many columns of the enemy."

The strikes, he said, are being conducted by Ukraine Su-24 and Su-25 fighter jets, artillery and missile barrages.

"My intelligence officers and agents are directing and calling the strikes," he said.

As Russia's invasion of Ukraine entered its eighth day Thursday, the mayor of Kherson said the strategic port city in Ukraine's south had been "captured" by Russian forces.

The apparent capture of Kherson, situated on the Dnieper River, marks the first major city to fall into Russian hands as Ukrainians continue to defend key hubs across their country.

Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukrainian President Zelenskyy who took part in talks in Belarus between Russia and Ukraine on Thursday, said the two countries have reached a tentative agreement to organize safe corridors for civilians to evacuate and for humanitarian supplies to be delivered. Under their preliminary agreement, cease-fires would be observed where corridors are created.

Uuuuuuuhhh I'm pretty sure if the Gov of either country told me to drive down this road cause it's safe....

I would still be making my own way.

I'm Just Paranoid that way.

If the corridors are protected that means they are watching or monitoring them.....

What if they change their minds??

Reminds me of an old John Denver song.

Putin is a freakin' lunatic !!

QuoteRussian artillery fire is blasting Ukraine's largest nuclear plant, sparking a fire, hours after international atomic regulators warned combat at the facility could wreak havoc, according to Ukraine authorities.

Video posted to Telegram, an encrypted messaging app, early Friday local time appeared to show a projectile landing outside the facility, creating a large fireball.

Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, tweeted that Russian forces were "firing from all sides" on the facility.

Russians are shelling the largest nuclear power plant in Europe

Winds blowing southeast (towards Russia)

Putin couldn't have authorized this. This is a fuckup of monumental proportions.

Green Russian troops not knowing what they're firing on???

This makes zero sense.

Tensions calming down now. They hit an administration building. No damage to any of the 6 reactors.

Situation appears ok now.

Russians backed off further shelling ( which came from tanks)

Can breathe sigh of relief.

Stock futures recovering most of losses now. Why I say this is this is more evidence we avoided a potential nuclear meltdown!

$1 million bounty on Putin's head

QuoteI promise to pay $1,000,000 to the officer(s) who, complying with their constitutional duty, arrest(s) Putin as a war criminal under Russian and international laws," wrote Konanykhin on LinkedIn. "Putin is not the Russian president as he came to power as the result of a special operation of blowing up apartment buildings in Russia, then violated the Constitution by eliminating free elections and murdering his opponents."

"As an ethnic Russian and a Russian citizen, I see it as my moral duty to facilitate the denazification of Russia. I will continue my assistance to Ukraine in its heroic efforts to withstand the onslaught of Putin's Orda," added the businessman. Orda is the Russian word for "horde," a predatory, plundering gang.

Confirmed. The largest plane in the world has been destroyed. The Antanov AN-225 Mriya.

Putin denying Russia targeting cities and its propaganda.

We better up our game on this crazy bastard.

Anyone thinking Biden has this much power over Putin is dreaming.
