That Congresswoman with an Econ Degree from Boston College; AOC... she's about as clueless as they come and she's got an army of clueless folks chanting right along with her.

If I were BC, I'd revoke her econ degree and award her something more appropriate. Perhaps Gender Studies or something.

QuoteLocal home heating oil prices surged more than 50 cents just on Tuesday as President Biden announced that the U.S. is banning Russian oil and gas imports.

At Amanda's Oil in Medford, for instance, the cost of oil jumped up to $5.799 per gallon. Prices have spiked close to 50% in just the last 10 days.

"It's crazy. It's nuts," said Ray Scarfo of Amanda's Oil. "It's uncharted territory. It's getting close to $6 a gallon.

I'm sure, any minute now, whoever is Biden's Secretary of Housing and Urban Development will be telling people they should buy some solar panels.

When it comes to powering my home, I stay diversified.
A natural gas furnace is the main source of heat, but I also have a wood stove and a pellet stove. For cooking, the cooktop runs on propane.

When times are good and the cost of fuel is cheap, it's easy to rationalize simplifying life by going with one fuel source, but when life becomes uncertain, I'm thankful I have more options than the average household.
