He had the opportunity to ask some questions as President of The Senate during process of selecting the current Incontinent In-Chief  and chose not to. That was some grade A Bovine Excrement.

Whoever runs for the Dumbocrats is going to be gay and black. That's their only hope.

What we really have to keep an eye on is the mid-terms. Here in Michigan, Stretchin Gretchen has been eerily quiet for far too long because everyone hates her. Suddenly the 2 R's that would easily unseat her have had their petitions determined to be invalid saying they didn't acquire enough signatures to be on the ballot.

That's my problem with Pence. He got his marching orders to shut up about the election fraud and he threw Trump under the bus. I don't know that he had a constitutionally legal means to stop the certification, but he could have made a bigger deal about proper audits.

Even though Mike Pence was Vice President for 4 years, I really don't know that much about him. Vice Presidents' seem to be a lacky for the person in charge.

Constitutionally, other than waiting for someone to die, the role of the Vice President is to preside over the Senate. Vice presidents cannot vote in the Senate, except to break a tie, nor may they formally address the Senate, except with the senators' permission.

With that understanding, Why doesn't the Vice President have a formal office within the Senate? They would show up each day and craft bi-partisan legislation and push the issues which they personally feel deeply about.

The VP would act as a liaison between both political parties and the executive branch.

I've never understood why the VP would choose to be a partisan go-fer.

Maybe not, but I think we are going to find out.

He did get 10 million more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016, so that is significant.
I think in a free and fair election he wins hands down.

DeSantis isn't eyeing the VP, he wants the presidency. He can beat Trump. If he does lose but garners a lot of delegates, he might accept being the running mate. Time will tell, that's a long ways out.
