I don't mind the heat of a jalepeno, but I hate the flavor of them.
For my everyday hot sauce I prefer a cayenne based like Louisiana Hot Sauce. Chaylula has really good flavor too.

Cholula is is pretty good but I have always loved jalapenos. When I was at Ft. Hood back in '78 there was a roach coach that would come by every day and they sold what they called a sausage stand up. It was a hot dog shaped sausage with 2 whole jalapenos on a bun. I guess it was called a stand up because you would dread sitting down on the toilet later.

I have ghost pepper, Trinidad Scorpion, and Carolina reapers growing in the garden right now.  probably another two weeks before anyone of them are ready for pickin'

I don't own a haz-mat suit so I'll leave those peppers to you thank you very much. Those are some seriously butt burning peppers. :flame:

Meh, you don't just eat a bite out of them per say.  I like to dice them up and sprinkle on burgers, wings, guac, and nacho's.  Great flavor, add as much heat as you like....
