...At 56 I still have friends, heck we have a couple in the family even, people who starting dating in highschool and they're still togetehr...

I met my wife in 7th grade, though we didn't start dating until our junior year in high school.

Had dinner last night with the two other couples we hang out with the most. Both of those couples also started dating in high school. And we all went to the same high school. Musta been something in the water.

A local softball team I played on up until a few years ago was started by a group of people who had all been friends since elementary school. About half of the team had dated or slept with each others wives in high school before any of them were married. These guys are all still best friends to this day and all but one couple are still married right out of high school.

Call me weird, but I don't know how you can hang out with a group of people knowing that one or more of them nailed your wife before you married her.

That's not being weird, that's being insecure and it's only natural.

Biden is talking today about carving Abortion out of the filibuster so that they can pass a national law for abortion rights with a simple majority. Do Democrats ever think beyond today? Republicans could just ban abortion nationally the next time they have a majority. (probably in January)

Information for those who care to know

There is a clear legal distinction between an induced abortion, which deliberately intends to end the life of the baby, and the medically classified "spontaneous abortions" such as an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, early delivery with the intent of saving the baby and/or mother, and preventing implantation of a fertilized egg.

Even with that distinction, 48 of the 50 states have clear exceptions for induced abortion if a mother's life is in serious jeopardy. At least 15 states also have clearly detailed exceptions for abortions in the case of rape, incest, or if the baby in the womb has been diagnosed with a condition that will likely prove deadly. By muddling the line between intentional abortion, which aims to end the life of the baby in utero at all costs, and medical problems, leftists are trying to trick women into believing that conservative states don't value life.

The left wants to fearmonger women into believing the Supreme Court is out for their lives but the bottom line is Dobbs does not stop any woman from receiving the medical care she needs for an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, or any other potentially fatal complications.

Just keep hearing lies like these because they know the laws in every state.   

Meghan Markle is just one of the many purveyors of such dangerous disinformation that stems from outrage over the court's Dobbs v. Jackson decision. In a recent interview with Vogue, Markle claimed "nobody should be forced to make a decision they do not want to make, or is unsafe, or puts their own life in jeopardy."

"I know what miscarrying feels like, which I've talked about publicly," she said. "The more that we normalize conversation about the things that affect our lives and bodies, the more people are going to understand how necessary it is to have protections in place."

Some Republicans are talking about a nation wide abortion ban.  I don't know who's worse?

Why don't States separated by different thinking people, agree to leave the other States alone. Don't force me to live by your standards if I live in a State that has like minded people. It's like a giant tit for tat competition of stupidity and the pendulum keeps swinging further and further in each direction every tit for tat.

isn't that pretty much what Alito's ruling said? IT seems like it's democrats who most want to nationalize Abortion.

In my opinion, yes.  If you are a pro lifer who lives in Texas, and you want to see abortion banned in California, then you are just as bad as the pro-choice Californian that wants to see abortion legalized in Texas.
