Week 1 had two VERY crazy endings to games that I haven't seen in a long time!
UNC v App State had a million points in the 4th quarter, and the best ending was LSU v Florida State!
Holy crap that was wild.

Iowa can't score a td against a high school team but 2 safeties and a FG wins the game.

Michigan beat up on an awful Colorado St team that has a new coach, 59 new players and a QB that has never started a game. Ouch, if that isn't a recipe for disaster I don't know what is.

I looked at the "highlights" of this game. Wow, it was worse than I thought.
21 total punts,10 for Iowa and 11 for SDSU. The Iowa QB went 11-25 for a whopping 109 yards. The SDSU QB was 10-26 for 87 yards. lol

Big win for Penn State over Purdue.
ANYBODY who has Purdue on their schedule knows they will need to have their 'A' game ready! 

We'll see what the rest of the season brings, but so far so good.
@ Auburn on 9/17,  @ Michigan on 10/15, then Home against Ohio State on 10/29 will tell the tale.

That's a steep hill to climb!!

Scoot Frost is fired.
That sucks because I was really hoping he would work out and bring the Huskers back to what they once were. He did good at UCF before going to Nebraska.
Did he just not get the recruits? Not coach them good enough? Or the old style of husker football is never coming back?

It's too bad their schedule doesn't help them. The only real team they'll face this season is Georgia.

We beat Florida on the road.  That's a good win for any team.

USC 2-0. Beating the spread both times. I SERIOUSLY cannot remember the last time that happened. I don't think they did that ever even during the Pete Carroll era. 

Allnof that is cool, but my favorite part of the last 2 weeks... showing WAY more disipline at the line of scrimage and committing FAR fewer penalties than years past.

Trojans are moving in the right direction. Finally. It's felt like the 90's all over again since Pete's been gone.
