Starting to sound like Bush/Obama all over again.
I'll go back to being a conservative, when conservatives go back to being conservative.

Then Biden with his "American Rescue Plan", worth a couple of more Trillion. Flooding the economy with money isn't all the D's fault, not by a long shot.

This is true. Unfortunately both sides weaponized the pandemic and had to out do each other in their response to it
Not only did they send billions to individuals, they sent more billions to the states
Cali is boasting they have an $80 billion budget surplus.. which is complete crap..
They have $80 billion in unspent Federal Covid grants.
An honest accounting of the state budget would show Cali is on the edge of bankruptcy.

They will use some of it in a blatant attempt to buy the midterms
They will be mailing out $1100 "Inflation Relief" checks to just about every person in the state
and they will hit our mail boxes ( or bank accounts) 1 week before the mid terms.

My wife and I never saw a penny of any of the state and Federal stimmy checks because our income level is too high
but I think we'll gets these $1100 "Inflation Relief" checks because the income cutoff for these is $400K per year

Only a COMPLETE moron would think there would not be supply chain issues when you shut EVERYTHING down for ANY span of time.

A huge portion of the manufacturing world runs on JIT. Inventories have been getting lower and lower and lower. Countries' taxation policies incentivise low inventory and tax/punish WIP and inventory.

This situation was planned and perpetrated by the most evil  people that walk this earth and carried out by the most ignorant.

Funny but I didn't hear anyone warning about this inevitability. Not even... you. :sofa:

This is true but Trump was also selling enough oil and gas that he almost broke Iran and hurt Russia significantly. If Biden had not shut down American oil Russia more than likely wouldn't have gone into Ukraine. I can't answer as to how much of that oil money went into the treasury but it was a hell of a lot more than what's going in right now.

Don't forget.. at the start of the "pandemic", supply chains were the least of our worries
I remember in the spring of 2020 they were telling us there would be 3 million dead by summer, 3 months away.
As a nation, we believed them and accepted their efforts to deal with it.
I figured the grocery stores would empty out pretty quick, but it wouldn't matter cause we'd all be dead.
My biggest worry was I wanted to be sure my wife went before I did and that I'd have to kill my dogs
before I got too sick to do it.

Biden is selling oil too, from our strategic reserves in Louisiana
The problem is, the reserves are not being replaced and the reserves will be empty in a couple of months

This is probably an ignorant question, but what do you mean by "shut down American oil"?  Aren't we still producing as much oil now as we were under Trump?

I know (I don't know shit actually) that he's picking away at potential future oil production?

Biden shut down American oil on his first in office. After gas got over $5.00 a gallon he opened up the strategic oil reserves that was for military needs. He later did open up some limited drilling but I think that's off again. The oil reserve is low and gas is rising again just in time for elections. How stupid is that? He could flip a two headed coin and it would come up tails.

My household will testify I was ranting about the idiots daily in March, April, and in May in 2020 shutting stuff down. Even my wife threatened to bury me somewhere I didn't STFU.
