2001 chevy malibu bought it 3 years ago for $500.

Drive 2 miles to work and 2 miles back.

2 miles to wally world.

Spent $400 on brakes last year and $400 on a tune up this year.

Full tank $40 last me 2 to 3 weeks.

"What's a car payment"????? 8)

Quote from: gcode on November 30, 2022, 02:28 PMHe only fills it up half way cause it costs about $250 to fill it up

My truck had a 35 gallon tank. The gas station in town where I fill up only goes to $100 per swipe so when gas prices rose enough I never put more than $100 in. On the other hand, the Subi has a 14 gallon tank. Much less shock to the account when I fill it up.

I think my Volvo has a 16 or 17 gallon tank
It burns premium so I'm spending $60/80 a week on gas these days
If I keep my foot out of it gets 20.5 mpg which is pretty good for 340 hp.
Its way faster than my old 1970 351 Cleavland big block Mustang
It was rated at 285 hp, required 96 octane gas and got about 8 mpg ( less if I drove it hard )

I have worked long and hard to be know as a good toolmaker, not a nice guy.😁

When you ask someone about a toolmaker and the first thing they say is, he's a nice guy. You know he sucks.😅

Took me two years to get the Old German in our shop to even confirm I existed.

He would just walk up and take my set up out of the machine.

Walk away leave a mess and I had to clean it up.

Fucker sent his new die out and it didn't come back till the run finished.

Funny thing...I can't remember what car he drove?

But you could never question his skill.

2004 crew cab Toyota Tacoma is my daily.

I drive my 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 on the weekends, it's a gas guzzler.

My daily commute to work is about 75 miles round trip...

Edit:  how you guys attaching pics in the reply's, I can't figure it out

ghuns

It just hit me reading this...

Technically, I could now be considered an old German toolmaker.

The slippers track too many chips back into the house, the soles are too soft.
