But seriously, did you listen to this? Don't know what it's called...it's like metal jazz!

Cool bass solo towards the end (~14:20 or so) from Skuli Sverrisson who used to play with Allan Holdsworth. Man, this whole album is amazing. He's got a couple of other spaces where the gtr lays out and you can really hear him, but the one towards the end kinda pops to my  ears.

And while I would have never thought I'd like the (wordless) vocals, it really does it for me somehow.

I love the music that you post but I probably wouldn't put a lot of it in my play list. 

It's great music.  Some of it's just weird.

Yeah, I'll grant you that! It sounds like some sort of strange beauty to my ears....and I hear the beauty more than the strange if that makes any sense (probably not-LOL).

Definitely not the sort of thing I can just have on in the background-I usually have to stop what I'm doing to listen.
